TXSEF 2021 will be virtual!
Everyone’s safety and well-being during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continue to be our utmost concern. As such, the 2021 fair will be held virtually. Students will upload a project board and overview video so judges can complete their first and second round assessments between March 15-27, 2021. Blue Ribbon judging will take place on April 10, 2021. Specific instructions about the project board and video for the virtual fair are now available.
About the Fair

The fair includes 20+ categories spanning across engineering, biological sciences and physical sciences. Winning high school entries advance to compete in the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).
We are a Member of ISEF
TXSEF winners in the high school divisions also earn the opportunity to attend the Governor’s Science and Technology Champions Academy and advance to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
Opportunities for collaboration & participation
More than 350 judges for 20+ categories spanning across engineering, biological sciences, and physical sciences are needed during the fair.
