Keynote Speaker | Dr. Cortlan J. Wickliff
Cortlan J. Wickliff, Ph.D., J.D. is an author, attorney, engineer, and currently the Associate Vice Provost of Academic Affairs and Strategic Initiatives at Rice University. Dr. Wickliff also serves as an advisor and attorney to several companies around the state of Texas. He began his academic journey by being accepted to college at the age of 14, and completed it by attaining a bioengineering degree from Rice University, a Harvard Law Degree, and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M in interdisciplinary engineering before his 26th birthday. Since publishing his book, Young and Driven: Overdrive, Dr. Wickliff has become a sought-after public figure and is quickly becoming a household name. He believes that it is never too early or too late to be impactful, and he wants to encourage people across the country to believe in themselves, be ambitious enough to dream big, and be driven to succeed no matter the obstacle.
