Texas Science and Engineering Fair Integrity and Misconduct Reporting Form

Participating in the Texas Science and Engineering Fair (TXSEF) carries important moral and ethical responsibilities for every student. TXSEF expects all participants to conduct research with honesty and integrity and to engage respectfully within the scientific community.
This form is intended for submitting concerns related specifically to TXSEF for review and potential investigation of scientific integrity issues.

Please note that any concerns or issues arising at a Texas Regional Fair must be directed to the organization with which that fair is affiliated — the Society for Science – International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). While TXSEF and regional fairs operate within the same state and many regional fairs advance students to TXSEF, those fairs are governed independently through their affiliation with ISEF. As such, TXSEF does not oversee or investigate matters that occur at the regional fair level.

Individuals who report concerns through the appropriate channels will not face retaliation or punishment.
Please be aware that anonymous allegations — particularly those lacking context, supporting evidence, or disclosure of relevant relationships — may limit our ability to conduct a thorough and fair review. We encourage you to provide clear, detailed, and accurate information to support the review process.
