Student Check-In, Display and Safety – Student Recreation Center

Parents, teachers and families are welcome to help finalists check-in and set up their boards.
6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Night at the ZACH, Zachry Engineering Complex
Parents, teachers and families are invited to join finalists in an extravaganza where guests can experience fun-filled activities, building tours and more.
While check-in and Display & Safety is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., we are offering staggered check-in times to ease traffic, and check-in and Display & Safety lines on our TXSEF staff. Prior to the fair, you will be asked to complete a survey noting what time you plan to arrive.

Doors open to students, students to posters – no parents – Student Recreation Center
Only finalists, TXSEF staff and judges are permitted inside the building. This policy is in place to maintain fairness, impartiality and the smooth operation of the fair. Students will be supervised by TXSEF staff and proctors that have been background checked and have completed the mandatory training. Additionally, a Medic will be present on staff at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of participants.

Judging of Projects (Live interviews) – Student Recreation Center
9:00 – 11 a.m.
Special Awards – Student Recreation Center
10:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Medal Distribution – Student Recreation Center

Blue Ribbon finalists posted on website & social media
Those who don’t advance to the Blue Ribbon round remain eligible for category awards, special awards and other distinctions, which will be presented during the Awards Ceremony.
2:15 p.m.
